These are designed to improve the knowledge of the Members of The Pony Club in matters within the countryside and horsemanship.

Mini Achievement Badges

The Mini Badges are aimed at children not quite old enough to take the Achievement Badges, and are designed to instil the basic principles of the main achievement badges topics.

Achievement Badges -Subjects covered include:

Bandaging and rugs, feeding ponies, working dogs, first aid (equine), handling and grooming, first aid (human), mucking out, saddlery, plaiting, shoeing, bird watching, riding on the lunge, farming, map reading, native breeds, poisonous plants, trees, flowers, wildlife, riding and road safety, loading, knots, dressage arenas, tack cleaning, stargazer, equestrian nations, public speaking, points of the horse and care of the horse’s foot.
